A 12 bore sidelock game gun with 28" blacked round nitro proved steel barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a brass bead front sight. The rib is engraved "ARMY & NAVY C.S.L. LONDON.". Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked modified & improved modified. The action body and lockplates are engraved with fine English Arabesque scrolls with trace case color hardened inish. The lockplates are engraved "ARMY & NAVY C.S.L" near actions water table. The action is fit with double triggers, blacked engraved top lever with left side thumbpiece checkered and automatic safety with "SAFE" ahead of the scored safety slide. Deluxe quality walnut stock in classic straight hand format, vacant gold stock, 14 1/2" LOP to a checkered butt, Cast Off 1/4" at face, 6 Lbs 6oz, so its fast to handle and perfect for the Grouse.
This is a stunning gun with wall thickness at a minimum of 27 and internally they are free of pitts, dents etc. They ring perfectly true.
