Until now we’ve focused on 12 gauge for testing Hortonium™ . That makes sense given that it is the gauge most people own and shoot, however what about the smaller gauges? No credible lead free alternative exists in 410, 28 gauge or 16 gauge other than maybe Bismuth, which we have proven doesn’t work. If you then have stumpy chambers, the choices are even less or just simply don’t exist. Keep scrolling to see the specifications.
We’ve spent a few hours this morning loading a few cartridges with Hortonium™. Here is what we’ve loaded for testing;
You’ll note above that we’ve not only loaded in plastic cases, we’ve also loaded in paper cases and for shorter chambers. You can’t get more bio-degradable than paper can you? No need for silly dustbin wads with Hortonium™
If you haven’t yet heard what Hortonium™ actually is, visit our Adventurers blog and view the last few posts to catch up.

Hi
Good to see you guys working on an alternative.
I’m a muzzloader and I hunt with my muzzloaders. I and many like me are concerned for the future use of our muzzloaders.
Will your shot be available loose? Will there be samples available soon?
Many thanks for your hard work.
Nathan.
We are working with manufacturers to make it available at the moment. It should come over to the states next year some time I would hope.
